A new look...and Games.

After re-reading my last post, it strikes me that I am quite the liar. From here on out, I will make it a priority to post WeTxt's progress here.

So, let me start by talking about some of the new WeTxt additions...

I gave WeTxt an overall new look in this past release that I think is a bit cleaner, and easier to use. The basic left column/right side content layout is the same, but most of everything else has changed a bit. First, I completely redid the menu, moving it to the primary area of the page, taking it off of the content which I think cleans up the entire look. You will notice that the background is lightened, which makes it a bit easier on the eyes. I have also changed all of the left column menus to be hide-able which lets you focus more on what you want to. The last update is the tips that you will now see sitting right below the menu. Keep an eye on these, as they give you good tips on using WeTxt as efficiently as possible...hence I call them WeTxt Tips.

In addition to the major layout changes, you will notice some tweaks here and there, but most significantly to the home page, and the profile views. I have used these pages to streamline adding contacts, sending them messages, and adding them to groups. Your own home page now also gives you a quick look at your most recent incoming messages, and your overall WeTxt messaging statistics.

The last major addition that everyone should know about, is the introduction of WeTxt Games. WeTxt Games are our newest service that let you play mobile text message based games against your friends, or even against our automated WeTxt player, Joshua (Wargames!). We debuted with a mobile version of Battleship which is nice and quick to get the hang of things. You can be sure that there are more games in the works as well...and I'll be sure to talk about them here.

So, go off, and do some WeTxt'ng already,

- Jon
